Trek Metals Limited (ASX: TKM) (“Trek” or the “Company”) is pleased to advise that it is making good progress with exploration activities at the Christmas Creek Gold and Rare Earth Element (REE) Project in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Earthworks have been completed for the proposed drilling program across four key prospects, with a fifth area to be cleared shortly. Trek Metals’ CEO, Derek Marshall, said: “Months of planning are now coming to fruition. With the earthworks largely complete, we eagerly await the arrival of our drilling contractor to begin testing the compelling targets we have been working up since the Project was acquired less than 12 months ago. Trek is moving quickly to add value to this highly prospective Project. “I would particularly like to thank the traditional custodians of the land we are working on. The Yi-Martuwarra Ngurrara provided cultural monitors to oversee the recent earthmoving activities and I was personally able to take part in a heritage survey with the Jaru over their lands, covering the Willis prospect and near surrounds. Trek has been welcomed to the land, and we are enthusiastic about being given the opportunity to test this strong, coherent and previously undrilled prospect. “With the drill rig booked and mobilising to site toward the end of the month we are now at the pointy end of our planned work for the year. “Our soil sampling program is over halfway to completion, so momentum is really building at this Project.
